Hi All! 

I hope you had a great weekend.  We were fighting the stomach bug at my house, but we're on the mend now!  I wanted to share this card which I made for my stamp club.  It was held on this past Saturday and I was unable to attend because I was just not feeling well at all.  I ended up video chatting in on it.  Pretty cool huh?  The ladies are so talented, they really didn't need me anyway!  One of the club members, Donna, took pictures of the cards for me.  Thanks Donna!  She has a beautiful blog, check it out at Creative Lady. 

I've seen this fan on a couple of other peoples blog and wanted to try it out for myself.  It was super easy to make using the new Designer Rosette Die from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I cut the paper to 3 inches, ran it through the die, folded it (accordion style), used my crop-a-dile to punch a hole at the bottom and ran some ribbon through it.  Love it!

Valentine's Class

Guess Who I got a Picture With at Leadership?

So, I was just walking to my next class at Leadership and ran into Shelli!  Shelli is the CEO and co-founder of Stampin' Up!  She was so sweet and was willing to talk with me and take a picture with me. So personable!   I showed my husband the picture and he said, "That's the lady in the front of the catalog!"  So funny, that he recognized her face, lol.  Don't you love her jacket?  She's always dressed so nicely!  Thanks Shelli for great inspiration!

Leadership Displays

I miss my boys (Quincy and Quad), but I'm having a blast here at the Stampin' Up! Happy New Year!

I'm still alive!  So, I took a little blogging break over Christmas and then it became the new year and I stayed on break!  I promise to not do that again.  I've been super uper busy!  The good thing is that I'm back and I'm going to make a commitment to my blog!  Please hold me accountable.

Now, guess what?  I'm in San Antonio for the Stampin' Up! Leadership conference.  So exciting.  I got here yesterday and I've already learned so so much.  I can't wait to come home and share everything with you all.  One of the things that we do at all Stampin' Up! events is swap cards.  We prepare lots of cards and switch out with each other.  I want to share my swap cards with you.   My girl Tessa came over this past weekend and helped me prepare them all!  Thanks Tess!

So Simple, but I love it...features the new Textured Impressions Embossing Folders from the Occasions Mini Catalog and the P.S. I Love You stamp set from the mini.  Crumb Cake cardstock, Craft White Ink and Poppy Parade Ribbon.  Easy Peasy!

A little more elaborate..but still pretty, lots of texture with the Fun Flowers Die, the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder, the new Edgelits Die and the matching Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The designer series paper, brad, and ribbon are sneak peaks from the Sale-a-bration catalog that starts Jan. 24!  The sentiment is from the P.S. I love you set stamped in Soft Suede.  Add Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Pool Party and Lucky Limeade Paper and you're done.
