Join us in making 5 unique cards featuring product from the Stampin' Up! Celebrate the Everyday mini catalog.  The colors come from the Kaleidoscope DSP collection and the stamps are from the Perfect Pennants set.  We will be exploring fun techniques such as shadow stamping, dry embossing, misting and heat embossing.  It will be lots of fun!!

Quatrefancy Specialty DSP Summer Wreath Class

New Stampin' Up! Online Class: The Basics

I've often had customers tell me that they would like a "Basics" stamp class.... Well here it is!  Stampin' Up! is offering an Online Stamp Class and its covering basic tips and techniques (with tutorials and videos!)  You can do it right in the comfort of your own home!

I just downloaded it and think its great for both beginner and advanced stampers.


Learn innovative ways to get the most out of your supplies (from stamps to the Big Shot) with clever tips and all the techniques you need to start creating with success.
Divided into six sections focused on a variety of topics, this class includes videos, step outs, and supply lists for 30+ projects. Join the fun!

It's only $14.95 (no shipping because it's a download).  You do not need MDS to download the file, just your computer... below are a few tips for downloading.


PC Instructions
The files will be downloaded as archive files that you can then extract and save on your computer. When you click on the download link, an extraction program will automatically launch. Choose the location where you would like to save the files (be sure to note where you save them). Follow the prompts on the extraction program, then navigate to the location where you saved the files. Click on the file and open.

Mac Instructions
When you click on the download link, the file will be mounted as a drive. Once it is mounted, open the drive and drag and drop the files to the location of your choice on your hard drive. The files can then be opened.

Paper Players #134 and Stamp Cafe is Tuesday!

It's a new week and it's going to be a busy one for me!  But wait, it always is, lol.  I'm starting the week off with a sketch challenge!

Today, I'm playing along with the Paper Players Challenge.  Sketches really help guide me while stamping.  Sometimes I just need a little jump start and sketches help big time.    

Here's the sketch...

So, how do you think I did?  If you like and you're in town (Woodbridge, VA) you can make this card on Tuesday night at Stamp Cafe!  Class is at my stamping studio at 6:30pm.  It's not too late to RSVP.  I'll cut everything out tonight.  Just RSVP by 6pm today!

Punch Art Class is Thursday...New Ways to use Stampin' Up! punches

Punch art class is this Thursday and It's not too late to RSVP.  

Here's one of the cute cards that we'll be making!

Come to class on Thursday and make four different punch art samples. Two of each design. One will be added to a finished card and the other will be put onto a 6x6 sheet of cardstock with the instructions already printed.  Every time you want to duplicate the punch art figure, you can just go back to your instruction sheet and copy!  

Class is from 6:30 - 8:30 pm and cost is $15 or FREE with a $25.00 product order.  Don't forget to bring your own adhesive and scissors to class.  Please RSVP by Wednesday night!  Hope to see you there!

Stamp Cafe Scrapbook Pages

Mini Scrapbook Class

Hi!  It was a beautiful day here in Northern Virginia.  I hope you were able to get outside because it's raining now.  I wanted to share this Mini Scrapbook Class that I'm having on next Saturday...and...I made a video!  My first!  I'm so excited about it.  What do you think?

Hello!

Happy Fall!

It's fall already!  My favorite time of the year...with the exception of Christmas, and Thanksgiving, and well, it's ONE of my favorite times of the year.

I know it's early for Christmas, but trust me, if you want to make your own cards this year...you need to get a head start!   On Saturday, October 1, from 11-2, we'll make 10 cards; 2 each of 5 designs.  Class fee is $25 or FREE if you place a $35 product order (before shipping and taxes) on that day.  If you're interested please RSVP by Monday, Sept. 26.

Stampin Card Keeper Box Class

Hello,

I wanted to share a project that I've been working on for an upcoming class. I'll be offering this class at my house on Sept. 8 and on Sept. 15 at 6:30pm. I personally think it's gorgeous. I used the new Spice Cake Desingers Series Paper and the Stampin' Card Keeper from the new holiday mini catalog. The pictures just don't do it justice, but trust me...the box is beautiful.

We'll also make 2 cards during the class...here's a sneak peak of them...
