Stampin' Up Papillon Potpourri, Elegant Butterfly Punch and Natural Compostion DSP

Happy Friday!
I wanted to share one of the cards that we made at Stamp Cafe this month.  Each month on the 4th Tuesday of the month, I have Stamp Cafe class here in my studio and we make 6 cards (envelopes included).  The class is $15 or FREE if you place a minimum order of $25.  It's a great class and I'd love for you to join me in August! You can see a list of my events here.
For this card I played with the new Natural Composition Designer Series Paper.  Love It!  I thought that the butterflies looked really cute with the flowers in the paper.  I used the colors that are the front cover of the new Stampin' Up! catalog.  Contact me if you don't have your own personal copy of the catalog and I'll get one to you asap.

All supplies Stampin' Up!:
Stamps: Papillon Potpourri, Made for You
Cardstock:  Natural Composition DSP, Early Espresso, Primrose Petals, Summer Starfruit
Ink: Early Espresso, Primrose Petals, Summer Starfruit
Punch:  Elegant Butterfly Punch

Enjoy!

Stampin' Up! Reason to Smile Promotion and Double Embossing Technique Video

Hi!
I'm back with another card using the Double Embossing Technique and a video tutorial so that you can try it out yourself.  Now, I'm not going to win any awards by the quality of this video (by far, lol), but you get the gist of the technique.  Here's the 2nd card that we made at Stamp Club on Saturday and it was using the Reason to Smile stamp set.

For the background layer, I used clear embossing powder in addition to the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.  Here's how I did it...

This set is a special for July only, and guess what?  It's valued at $20.95, but is only $5 (clear or wood).  It's only available if you place a $50 order.  The Reason to Smile set will not be available after July 31.  Don't wait, get it now!  Click here for more information!

Easy, but cool, huh?  Here's what I used....
Stamps:  Reason to Smile,  Loving Thoughts
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse
Ink:  Midnight Muse
Punch:  2 1/2 in. circle, 1 in. square
Big Shot:  Perfect Pennants Bigz L die, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, Square Lattice Embossing Folder
Tools & Accessories:  Heat Tool, Clear Embossing Powder, Paper Snips, Stampin' Dimensionals

Enjoy!

New Stampin' Up! Fancy Fan Folder and a Cool Technique

So yesterday we faced the 102 degree heat and had stamp club.   We did a cool technique that I call double embossing.  I plan on posting a video about it tomorrow, hopefully by me saying it here today it will get done!  Basically we embossed twice, first dry embossed, then we heat embossed using the new Stampin' Up! Fancy Fan Embossing Folder (which I just got and love).
Here's the final project!
